Pondok Pecak Library & Learning Center is one of Ubud's special treasures. It offers the gifts of knowledge, creativity and artistic expression. 

Centrally located by Ubud's famous soccer field, the Learning Center opens their doors to welcome all visitors to sit back and relax for the day or experience some creative magic. With over 10,000 books, the library has an impressive collection of books that include categories such as spirituality, romance and fiction, new age, religion, children's stories, philosophy, and more. The books can be borrowed on a part-time basis, provided you have a membership. Some books are for sale as well.

The Learning Center offers visitors a large variety of choices when it comes to creative expression, including courses in woodworking, gamelan, mask-making, dance, painting, and making traditional Balinese offerings. Other arts & crafts courses are available upon request.

The centre also offers inexpensive beginner and intermediate language courses in Bahasa Indonesia. Visitors can learn the basics of Bahasa in 10 classes and then advance on to the next level. Internet is available for use as well.
