Be yourself fully.

These words echo softly from the heart, as whispers in the wind. So softly, in fact, they are often not heard over the noise of the internal and external worlds, the world within and the world without, which drowns out the voice of the silence that is your true self. If we listen closely, the whole of Nature echos these words. Be yourself fully. Our hearts call us to listen to the trees, the flowers, the birds, the waters, the winds and the seas, for everything in Nature wants us to remember to be ourselves fully, to express our greatest potential, honour our soul purpose, and to live our dreams.

Just listen.
Just watch.
Just smell.
Just taste.
Just touch.
Just be.

waterfallIt is so simple and so complete to just sense the world in all its glory, beauty and mystery, yet at the same time, it is so challenging to allow the world to be known and experienced for what it truly is - as a magical place of ever-changing happenings that appear and disappear, arise and fall, come to be and pass away. The sun rises, then sets. The wind blows, then ceases in stillness. The flower blooms, then perishes. Eternal cycles, wheels within wheels, all waiting to take us for a ride into the depths of experience where the world is felt as an infinite unfolding of Beauty, the body is plastic, fluid and free, and the mind is silenced by the unity. Sensing the world in all its fullness is the first initiation into being yourself fully because there is no escaping the fact that we are bodies. Fleshy bodies. Sticky bodies. Radiant bodies. Sensuous bodies. Fluid Bodies. It is not that we have bodies, but that we are bodies. "We cannot imagine how a mind could paint," nor dance, nor sing . . .

It is about feeling the world, being in the world with an ever-present aliveness that is timeless and spaceless. When was the last time you felt the world, truly felt the aliveness of the world and your own aliveness? Walked barefoot upon the sand? Swam naked in the waters? Touched the earth and made the connection? Listened to the birds sing to you? They are singing just for you and you do not listen. The flower blooms just for you and you do not see.

Everything is given grace - given just for your happiness.

Yet we have built a brick wall around our hearts, and closed our minds to truth. The soul is frozen by language and paralysed by fear, the body, cold and lifeless. The eyes await the light that shines from within, the body longs to feel itself again. Then, just listen, the bird sings. Then, just watch, the flower blooms. The child smiles. I'm breaking. The wind, it softly touches my face. The sea, it holds me. The grass, it tickles me, the earth comforts and grounds me, the sun warms me, the stars shine for me, and you . . . you see me. You warm my heart and melt my soul. The brick wall comes crumbling down into a million pieces, my soul cries in ecstasy.

I break open.

There is no containing this flood of life that pours in and through me. There is no restraining the love that awakens in each cell of being. I'm falling, I'm falling free, falling into the bliss of being me. I've never seen the world shine so bright - through my own self-effulgent light.
